We Are All Doing The Best We Can

We are all scared.

The mom of a medically complex child.

The dad who can’t work from home.

The adult caring for their elderly parents.

The child who doesn’t understand why they  can’t go to school or see their friends.

The teacher working hard to maintain a sense of normalcy and provide education for their students.

The mail carrier wearing a mask while delivering parcels.

The grocery store employee who shows up to work day after day so people can get essentials.

The small business owners who are losing their income and their livelihood.

The health care professionals and first responders on the frontlines.

The old. The young. The high-risk. The “low”-risk.

We are all scared.

And we are all just doing the best we can.
