This is my daughter, Evalyn.
I write about her often. If you’ve been following me, at this point you know that (in my completely unbiased opinion) she is beautiful, funny, bright, caring, and full of joy. You also know that she has “special needs” caused by a variety of medical conditions.
I tend to talk about her needs and my advocacy for children with disabilities in general terms, although I have discussed some of her specific conditions in my writing in the past. There is one diagnosis I have not written about, however.
